Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous coaching experience (high school, club, or collegiate level)
• Strong knowledge of basketball techniques, rules, and training methods
• Working knowledge of NJCAA rules, or willingness to learn and maintain compliance
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as required

Responsibilities

• Organize and conduct practices, identify players' strengths and weaknesses, provide constructive feedback
• Promote good sportsmanship, teamwork and safety, ensure health standards
• Recruit prospective athletes and coordinate with athletic directors on eligibility
• Prepare game schedules, communicate with athletes and participate in all games
• Manage uniforms/equipment and arrange travel as needed
