Job summary

24 Hour Fitness Channel Islands - CA is seeking a Group X Coach to deliver pre-choreographed or freestyle group exercise programs to members and guests, in person or via virtual platforms. You will create an inviting, motivating experience that welcomes participants of all fitness levels.

You’ll coach multiple classes weekly, ensure safety and proper technique, recruit new members, handle class coverage, and help keep the club clean and well maintained.

Qualifications

• Current approved group exercise primary certification for taught format.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous group exercise instruction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coach pre-choreographed or freestyle group sessions in person or via virtual tech.
• Present classes to welcome, encourage and challenge members.
• Ensure safety and proper technique for all fitness levels.
• Increase attendance through engaging teaching and motivation.
• Find appropriate substitutes for group session coverage.
• Maintain a strong social media presence to attract participants.
• Attend staff meetings as required.
