The role requires at least six months of group exercise teaching, a recognized group fitness certification (ACE/AFAA/ACSM), and current CPR and first aid training.

Qualifications

• At least six months teaching in a group exercise format.
• Knowledge of safe exercise technique and group exercise principles.
• Knowledge of basic physiology and body mechanics.
• Group fitness certification by ACE, AFAA, ACSM.
• Current CPR certification and basic first aid training is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead group exercise sessions following a pre-arranged format.
• Inquire about first-timers and assess fitness levels privately.
• Ensure clear verbal instructions, appropriate music volume, and a motivating atmosphere.
• Adapt routines with variations to accommodate all fitness levels.
• Handle setup, equipment checks, and post-class wrap-up.
