Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Groundsperson to maintain grounds for client sites including lawns, walkways, and parking areas. The role involves mowing, edging, pruning, spraying, and general landscape upkeep to ensure a safe, attractive environment.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least three years of groundskeeping experience, with the ability to work rotating shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Three years’ experience as a groundskeeper.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts, overtime, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds for lawns, fields, walks, pathways, roads and parking lots.
• Mow lawns with hand or power mower.
• Edge and trim around beds using clippers and edging tools.
• Prune shrubs/trees to shape or remove damaged growth.
• Spray fertilizer, herbicides and insecticides.
• Rake, bag or burn leaves.
• Clean grounds and remove litter.
• Plant grass, flowers, trees, and shrubs.
• Water lawns and shrubs.
• Repair fences, gates, walls, and walks.
• Operate tractors with attachments for grounds upkeep.
• Sharpen tools for maintenance.
• Follow health and safety rules.
