Job summary

Aero Alliance in Houston, TX seeks a Test Technician to perform dynamic testing of gas turbine engines and troubleshoot test cells, data systems, and instrumentation. You will document test events and support calibration and maintenance while promoting safety and lean practices.

You will work 2pm-10:30pm, with opportunities to mentor others and contribute to the test cell team. Prior gas turbine experience and English proficiency required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mechanical and electrical skills with shop tools and inspection equipment.
• Basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
• 2+ years in a gas turbine environment focusing on electrical systems and controls.
• Ability to understand work instructions and read English documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform dynamic testing and troubleshooting of gas turbines during engine tests.
• Setup and use data acquisition systems and interpret test data.
• Adjust engine controls and test equipment to meet objectives.
• Operate and maintain test cell auxiliary systems and logs.
• Assist with installation/removal of gas turbines and related equipment.
• Promote safety and lean initiatives within the facility.
• Mentor junior Test Technicians and work with the team.
