Job summary

Qualifications

Work with diverse community college students including disability, cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
Earned a Master’s Degree in French or equivalent.
Hold a life California Community College Instructor Credential in French or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Teach first- and second-year French courses, including conversation, in person and online.
Teach courses on French language and Francophone cultures.
Teach across morning, afternoon, evening, weekend sessions at multiple sites.
Follow department course outlines of record and publish SLO assessments.
Meet deadlines for department and college reports and requests.
Maintain current knowledge of teaching methods and technology for language learning.
Support inclusive, anti-racist teaching practices to support student success.
Participate in diversity, equity, and inclusion training as required.
