International Commodity Carriers Inc. is seeking a driven Freight Broker in Medford, OR to build carrier and shipper relationships and move freight nationwide. The role offers a fast-paced environment with growth opportunities as you close deals and expand the network.

Responsibilities include sourcing loads, negotiating rates, and using DAT/Truckstop and a TMS to optimize operations. A background in logistics and strong communication will help you excel and meet targets.

Qualifications

• Previous freight brokerage, logistics, or transportation sales experience preferred.
• Strong negotiation and verbal/written communication skills.
• Familiarity with load boards (DAT, Truckstop) and TMS software.
• Ability to multitask in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations a plus.

Responsibilities

• Source, negotiate, and book freight loads with shippers and carriers to ensure timely transportation.
• Build and maintain relationships with a network of carriers and shippers.
• Track and trace shipments with proactive customer updates throughout the freight lifecycle.
• Negotiate competitive freight rates to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Manage load boards and use TMS to match freight with carriers.
• Resolve shipping issues, delays, and disputes with a solutions-oriented approach.
• Meet and exceed sales and revenue targets.
