International Commodity Carriers Inc. is seeking a driven Freight Broker to join our Medford, OR team. You will source, negotiate, and book freight loads while building strong carrier and shipper relationships to move freight efficiently across the country.

In a fast-paced logistics environment, you will track shipments, provide proactive updates, and strive to meet revenue targets with a customer-focused mindset and competitive rates.

Qualifications

• Experience in freight brokerage, logistics, or transportation sales preferred.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, verbal and written.
• Familiarity with load boards (DAT, Truckstop.com) and TMS software.

Responsibilities

• Source, negotiate, and book freight loads with shippers and carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation.
• Build and maintain relationships with a network of carriers and shippers.
• Track and trace shipments, providing proactive updates to customers throughout the freight lifecycle.
• Negotiate competitive freight rates to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Manage load boards and utilize TMS to match freight with available carriers.
• Resolve shipping issues, delays, and disputes with a solutions-oriented approach.
• Meet and exceed sales and revenue targets.

Responsibilities:

• Source, negotiate, and book freight loads with shippers and carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation
• Build and maintain strong relationships with a network of carriers and shippers
• Track and trace shipments, providing proactive updates to customers throughout the freight lifecycle
• Negotiate competitive freight rates to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction
• Manage load boards and utilize TMS (Transportation Management Systems) to match freight with available carriers
• Resolve shipping issues, delays, and disputes with a solutions-oriented approach
• Meet and exceed individual sales and revenue targets on a consistent basis

Requirements:

• Prior experience in freight brokerage, logistics, or transportation sales preferred
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficiency with load boards (DAT, Truckstop.com) and TMS software
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
• Self-motivated with a competitive, results-driven mindset
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and freight industry standards is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business or logistics preferred
