Job summary

Simmons Foods, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Forklift/Pallet Jack Operator to move and store product safely on site in Arkansas. You will operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand lifts, following USDA and company procedures while keeping equipment and work areas clean and organized.

We value teamwork, safety discipline, and reliable reporting of daily activities and issues to supervisors. A valid forklift license is required, and poultry/food processing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to move or lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must obtain and maintain forklift and pallet jack licenses.
• Experience in poultry or food processing preferred.
• Able to follow safety procedures and USDA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Stores and moves product using an industrial forklift, hand lift or pallet jack.
• Operates an electronic or hand operated pallet jack between departments, buildings, and grounds.
• Delivers materials to work areas as directed from production supervisor and stacks materials.
• Loads/unloads shipments in trailers and ensures items are undamaged.
• Performs routine servicing of equipment (batteries, tires) and reports issues.
• Maintains clean, safe work area and follows safety regulations.
• Loads and unloads trucks and assists with inventory recording.
• Keeps dock area clear and organized to ensure efficient workflow.
• Completes daily and weekly reports to the floor supervisor.
