The role involves operating forklifts and pallet jacks, delivering materials, and assisting with inventory in a fast-paced poultry/food processing environment. The position requires lifting up to 50 pounds, maintaining licenses, and following established SOPs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift license and pallet jack license.
• Preference for poultry or food processing experience.

Responsibilities

• Stores and moves product using an industrial forklift, hand lift or pallet jack.
• Operates a pallet jack between departments, buildings and grounds.
• Delivers materials to work areas as directed and loads/unloads shipments.
• Performs routine servicing of equipment such as charging batteries and checks tires.
• Identifies mechanical problems or damage and reports to supervisor.
• Maintains clean, safe work area and follows safety regulations.
• Loads and unloads trucks and assists with inventory.
• Completes daily and weekly reports to the floor supervisor.
