Liberty Packaging in Brooklyn Park, MN, is hiring a Material Handler/Forklift Operator for a full-time role. You will safely move goods, scan inventory, operate shrink wrap equipment, and prepare shipments. Reports to a Warehouse Supervisor in a busy facility and may require overtime.

The position emphasizes safety, accuracy, and efficiency while supporting production and shipping operations. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varied warehouse conditions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent plus 1+ year experience operating mobile equipment.
• Basic computer skills including typing, printing, and data entry.
• Strong math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions.
• Must be available for overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in a high traffic environment.
• Use electronic scanning on a forklift to track inventory and location.
• Complete pre-operation inspections and report equipment issues.
• Prepare shipments, consolidate pallets, and operate shrink wrap machine.
• Move products throughout the facility, including loading/unloading trailers.
• Follow safety regulations and company guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
