Job summary

The Margaritaville Hotel San Diego Gaslamp Quarter is seeking a Food Runner to join our energetic culinary team. You will help deliver food to tables and support the kitchen and service staff in a fast-paced environment, ensuring guest satisfaction from start to finish.

Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, assisting with plating when needed, and reacting to guest requests with a go-the-extra-mile attitude. Flexible hours, including nights and weekends, may be required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the prompt and efficient delivery of food orders to guests' tables.
