Job summary

Vivmark Residential seeks a Floating Assistant Community Manager to support multiple communities by driving the full sales cycle, maintaining operational excellence, and delivering an exceptional resident experience.

This role requires travel among NJ, NY Metro, and Westchester properties, mentorship of onsite teams, and a clear path toward a Community Manager position, with flexibility and strong business acumen.

Qualifications

• Residential or commercial property management experience.
• Ability to travel and support properties in the NJ, NY Metro and Westchester County locations.
• Customer service and sales experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Driver's license, good driving record, auto insurance, and reliable transportation if operating a vehicle.
• Communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
• Knowledge of federal and state apartment housing laws.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends.
• Use of a smartphone for work and basic computer tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Travel between assigned communities to provide coverage and support as needed.
• Drive leasing and renewal processes with strong connections to prospects and residents.
• Lead, mentor, and support onsite teams in sales, marketing, and customer service.
• Manage financial transactions, including rent collections, payments, and audits.
• Explain lease provisions and oversee move-in processes and orientations.
• Respond promptly to resident inquiries and ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate service requests with maintenance teams to meet resident needs.
• Adapt to different team dynamics and market conditions while upholding company standards.
• Monitor market trends to support occupancy goals and future needs.
