Job summary

Loma Linda University Health-Murrieta seeks a Patient Care Assistant (PCA)-FIT as part of the hospital-wide float pool. This role has no home unit and works across departments, supporting RN-led patient care with flexibility to changes in shift priorities and assignments.

Candidates should have completed an approved CNA program or MA program, or Nursing Fundamentals; minimum six months nursing assistant or MA experience preferred; BLS certification required; English (Spanish preferred).

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an approved CNA program, MA program or Nursing Fundamentals required.
• Minimum six months nursing assistant or MA experience preferred.
• Basic life support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect age-specific patient care under RN supervision.
• Support units across multiple departments as part of float pool staffing.
• Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork and safe patient care at all times.
