Job summary

Loma Linda University Health is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) for its inpatient department. The PCA works under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct and indirect patient care in a fast-paced environment at LLUCH.

Qualified candidates have completed a CNA or MA program, or Nursing Fundamentals, with six months of nursing assistant or MA experience preferred, and hold a valid BLS certification. Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved CNA program, MA program, or Nursing Fundamentals.
• Minimum six months nursing assistant or MA experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care under RN supervision in a fast-paced inpatient unit.
• Delivers age-specific and developmentally appropriate care.
• Maintains confidentiality and follows hospital policies and procedures.
