Job summary

Loma Linda University Medical Center (LLUMC) seeks a Patient Care Assistant to support RNs in a fast-paced inpatient environment. The PCA will provide direct and indirect patient care, follow established policies, and help ensure high levels of patient and family satisfaction.

The role requires completion of a CNA/MA program or Nursing Fundamentals, with preferred six months of related experience. BLS certification is required, with bilingual English/Spanish beneficial.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an approved CNA program, MA program, or Nursing Fundamentals.
• Minimum six months nursing assistant or MA experience preferred.
• Reading, writing, and speaking English (Spanish preferred) with professional quality.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use EMR systems.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required.
