Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Flex Access Control in Southfield, MI to serve clients across industries. You’ll perform patrols, monitor entrances, and respond to incidents while working 30-40 hours weekly with the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program.

The role requires a concealed carry permit (armed), willingness to work varying shifts including nights and weekends, and a minimum of one year in armed security or law enforcement. A driver’s license is required for driving posts.

Qualifications

• Must possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Available to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Have at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Be available for last-minute shift scheduling.
• Background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of emergency.
• Warn violators of rule infractions.
• Monitor entrances and exits to property.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft.
• Investigate incidents and maintain written logs.
