Job summary

Walmart is hiring Developmental Technicians for General Facilities and Maintenance in Las Vegas, NV. You will maintain and repair store facilities, equipment, and assets, using plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and other crafts under supervision of an experienced technician.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and working at heights in varying temperatures. A valid driving record and the ability to read/speak English are essential for daily tasks and emergency responses.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to climb ladders frequently and work at heights.
• Able to sit or stand for long periods.
• Able to work in varying temperatures and maintain a driving record.

Responsibilities

• All primary responsibilities will be performed under the direct supervision of an experienced technician.
• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, MHE, food equipment).
• Use the work order system to receive and document repair work orders and support stores.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment safely.
