Job summary

Walmart in Las Vegas is hiring Developmental Technicians specializing in Refrigeration and HVAC maintenance. You'll help keep stores, equipment, and fixtures safe and functional, following established schedules and under the guidance of the Market Manager.

The role involves inspections, repairs, and a strong focus on safety. Qualification includes EPA Type I & II refrigerant handling certification and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• EPA Type I and Type II certification for refrigerant handling.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist or perform repairs and maintenance under the supervision of an experienced technician.
• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment) and hand/power tools.
• Use the work order system to receive and document repair activities and respond to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues and ensure safety and compliance.
• Complete training requirements to operate equipment safely.
