Job summary

The Institute for Advanced Study is seeking enthusiastic Event Staff to join our team in Princeton. You will greet attendees, assist with registration, direct guests, and support setup and cleanup for lectures, concerts, and public programs, while delivering outstanding customer service.

The role emphasizes strong communication, reliability, and teamwork. You may be required to work evenings or weekends and participate in a variety of campus events.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of events experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Greet attendees, scan tickets, direct guests to seating at lectures, concerts, and programs.
• Manage registration tables, monitor crowd flow, answer participant questions.
• Support event setup, including arranging tables and chairs, installing equipment, setting up catering.
• Support event cleanup and maintain tidy event spaces.
• Monitor and support special events and community activities.
