THE BATTLE STANDARD LLC in East Windsor, CT is seeking an Event Coordinator to organize special events and coordinate with the marketing staff. As the Event and Marketing Coordinator, you will serve as the point of contact for events and coordinate with the marketing staff under your management to advertise for and facilitate large events.

You also will be responsible for setting up and tearing down events. The ideal candidate is outgoing, energetic, and willing to take initiative.

Qualifications

• Outgoing, energetic personality and ability to engage attendees.
• 1-3 years of event planning experience.
• Ability to take initiative on projects.
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Reliable with excellent time management.
• Knowledge of tabletop gaming is a plus (Warhammer 40k, D&D, MTG, board games).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with management and marketing staff to plan events
• Coordinate event logistics
• Management of Marketing and Social Media Staff
• Data entry for the businesses online calendar
• Create and edit advertisements online
• Outbound calling to seek event opportunities
• Field inbound requests for events from customers and employees
• Report to management and ownership regarding events, including recommendations for improvements
• Social media engagement and posts
