Creative Dining Services seeks a Catering Coordinator for MSUFCU's East Lansing, MI campus. You will assist management with catering event operations, ensuring excellent customer service, food presentation, and sustainability aligned with company standards.

Schedule varies with events; flexible availability required. Be prepared for weekends/evenings as needed. Valid driver's license and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of experience in food service or catering.
• Strong organizational and written/spoken communication skills.
• Professional and friendly interaction with catering customers.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to last-minute changes; be creative.

Responsibilities

• Execute and supervise assigned catering events.
• Coordinate with Food Service Director and Executive Chef for logistics and inventories.
• Work with catering team and support departments for food/beverage expectations, setup, and staffing.
• Drive MSUFCU fleet vehicle for event transport.
• Assist with onboarding and cross-training of catering staff.
• Ensure sanitation, safety, and organization standards are met.
• Order food for events and maintain event records/reports.
