Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• State Certified in Special Education with HQ status preferred.
• HQ status or eligibility in multiple exceptional education areas preferred.
• Criminal and employment background checks required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares for and conducts parent and student conferences as per policy.
• Delivers instruction using school-approved modalities and supports inclusion.
• Collects data and work samples; plans appointments with parents.
• Assists regular teachers with specially designed instruction when needed.
• Proctors standardized tests and maintains progress reports quarterly.
• Maintains IEPs, quarterly reports, and progress monitoring.
• Develops and implements IEPs with measurable goals and data-driven decisions.
• Communicates with teachers and administrators; participates in weekly meetings.
