MedVet Medical & Cancer Centers for Pets is seeking an Emergency Veterinary Doctor Coordinator to support ER doctors during fast-paced shifts. The role involves facilitating workflow, coordinating diagnostics, and maintaining clear client and team communication in a high-stress emergency setting.

Ideal candidates bring prior veterinary emergency experience, strong clinical calculation skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Prior veterinary experience required, previous emergency experience desired.
• Proficient in calculations (drugs, CRI, unit conversions).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Directly supports specific doctors during shifts and can support different doctors within a department.
• Ensures follow-through of departmental workflow for the supported doctors.
• Collaborates on scheduling consults, transfers and diagnostics.
