Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in nursing and current Kansas RN licensure.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire; ACLS for telemetry, ICU, and PCU; oncology certification for post-surgery care.
• Certifications required within one year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient and family needs, developing personalized care plans and evaluating care outcomes.
• Prioritize patient goals and revise care strategies to address biological, emotional, psychosocial, spiritual, developmental, and educational factors.
• Delegating tasks appropriately to optimize patient outcomes.
• Adhering to the Kansas Nurse Practice Act and maintaining licensing and certification requirements.
