Job summary

Mohegan Sun seeks an experienced entertainment lighting professional to manage all aspects of lighting for shows and events. You will draft plots, program and operate consoles, load in/out, and lead the lighting crew across multiple venues on property.

Applicants should have strong live-event lighting design skills, familiarity with GrandMA2/3 consoles, CAD tools like Vectorworks, and a solid safety record. This role is on-site at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or bachelor’s in lighting preferred; three years of related experience considered.
• Knowledgeable in professional lighting equipment and live event lighting design.
• Experience with GrandMA2/3 consoles and CAD software (Vectorworks or similar).

Responsibilities

• Load in/out shows and run lighting crew as LD or Dimmer Tech when needed.
• Create lighting plots and configure rigging for shows and events.
• Operate lighting control systems and maintain equipment.
• Design lighting for entertainment and special events across the property.
• Build, repair, and maintain lighting fixtures, cables, and related gear.
• Set up follow spots and RoboSpots; adhere to safety protocols.
