Job summary

Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, CT is seeking a Lighting Technician to provide complete technical support for all entertainment events property-wide. You will install, operate, and maintain advanced lighting systems under the direction of the Lead Lighting Technician or supervisor.

The role requires working knowledge of theatrical lighting, computerized lighting consoles, and electrical concepts, with flexible hours including evenings, holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

Requires 3–5 years of technical entertainment production experience or a related bachelor’s degree.
Must be well versed in production/theater terminology.
Must have working knowledge of theatrical lighting, computerized lighting consoles, and electrical concepts.
Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
Physical ability to stand, walk, reach and lift up to 100 pounds; operate heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

Provide complete technical support for all entertainment events across the property.
Install, operate, and maintain advanced lighting systems.
Troubleshoot and assist in repair of advanced lighting systems.
