Job summary

BCG Attorney Search invites an Associate Attorney to join its Energy & Environmental Group in Towson, MD. The ideal candidate has a strong background in energy law and can handle complex matters within a collaborative team.

You will deliver high-quality legal services, build client relationships, and manage cases from start to finish while staying current on evolving energy regulations. A JD and 3+ years of energy law experience are required.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar or eligibility to waive in.
• Minimum 3 years of energy law experience, including regulatory and utility matters.
• Litigation experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, driven and detail-oriented.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned cases from start to finish, developing strategies for outcomes.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
• Draft, review, and finalize legal documents with precision.
• Keep clients informed on case progress and developments.
• Represent clients in negotiations and seek favorable resolutions.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and colleagues across practice areas.
• Uphold professional conduct and bar requirements.
• Assist in financial management of cases, including retainers and payments.
• Stay current with legal developments and complete CLE.
