Job summary

Cambridge Health Alliance in Everett, MA is seeking a Clinical Social Worker for the Psychiatric Emergency Service (PES) on a per diem basis.

You will perform psychiatric assessments, provide crisis counseling, and help implement treatment plans in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team.

The role requires a master's in social work and MA licensure (LCSW/LICSW); prior acute psychiatric experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work required.
• MA licensure as LCSW or LICSW in MA.
• Credentialed by CHA Medical Staff for practice.
• Minimum of two years post-master’s experience with acute psychiatric population preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform psychiatric assessments and crisis counseling in PES.
• Develop and implement treatment planning for psychiatric patients.
• Identify resources and obtain collateral information from supports.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, PAs, and physicians.
