Job summary

Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) Everett Hospital is seeking a per diem Social Worker to join the psychosocial support team in the inpatient psychiatry setting. You will perform psychosocial assessments, safety planning and discharge coordination for adults and geriatric patients on 22-bed units, under clinical supervision.

Position requires MA LCSW licensure, flexibility to work weekends, and a willingness to cover for full-time social workers during weekdays.

Qualifications

• Current MA licensure as an LCSW.
• Clinical internship or job experience in clinical human services with population-specific experience at the service site.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat an assigned caseload of clients, providing psychosocial care and clinical interventions to support discharge planning.
• Lead therapeutic groups as needed and coordinate with the treatment team for patient safety and smooth transitions.
