Klamath Falls City Schools seeks a dynamic certified elementary teacher for Joseph Conger Elementary School in Klamath Falls, Oregon. This is a half-time, temporary position for the 2026-2027 year with duties to instruct, prepare, and assess students in a high-need population.

Salary ranges from $53,684 to $99,647 per year (DOE) and is prorated based on FTE; generous benefits including health, dental, and vision, with district-supported retirement and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Hold or qualify for an Oregon teaching license with the proper endorsement/authorization.
• Demonstrated ability to teach students to be successful learners through student teaching, internship, or temporary/regular teaching experience.
• ESOL endorsement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meets and instructs assigned classes in the locations and at the times designated.
• Develops a classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
• Prepares for classes and shows evidence of preparation upon request.
• Maintains records as required by law and district policy.
• Communicates with students and parents and participates in faculty meetings.
