Job summary

Wayzata Public Schools is seeking a Physical Education Teacher for North Woods Elementary School as a Long Term Reserve. The 1.0 FTE position runs from late fall to spring with responsibilities to design engaging PE instruction for K-5 students.

The role emphasizes building positive relationships with students, parents and staff, and delivering data-informed instruction using current technology to monitor progress.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid MN license to teach Physical Education to students in grades K-5.
• Experience with elementary teaching and differentiated strategies for diverse learners.
• Strong classroom management with ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Proficient with technology used to support communication, academics, and student progress monitoring.
• Ability to produce, analyze and respond to data about student learning.
