Job summary

BASIS Ed is seeking an Elementary PE Teacher for BASIS Richardson campus to join a bright, passionate team. The role focuses on preparing and delivering subject-specific lesson plans and collaborating within a co-teaching model to achieve exceptional student outcomes.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s in subject matter (or 24+ credit hours) and an IVP fingerprint clearance. Proficiency in MS Office is expected; master’s degree is preferred and 2+ years of teaching experience are

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 24+ credit hours in the subject matter, or related field.
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and facilitate subject- and grade-specific lesson plans.
• Provide instruction above grade level in an interactive setting.
• Implement the BASIS Curriculum to design effective lessons and assessments.
• Collaborate with BASIS Curriculum teachers to develop materials and foster collaboration.
• Tutor students to elevate academic trajectories.
• Manage student behavior to support a positive learning environment.
• Support non-instructional duties such as before/after school activities.
• Maintain consistent, full attendance and supervision of students.

Education

Bachelor's degree in subject matter or 24+ credit hours

Master's degree in subject matter or education (preferred)
