• Proficiency using standard office software and devices.

Responsibilities

• Adapts classroom work for individualized learning plans within lesson plans.
• Administers developmental testing programs and subject assessments.
• Advises parents on student progress and improvement methods.
• Assesses student progress toward objectives and provides feedback.
• Collaborates with staff, parents, and community resources to improve student outcomes.
• Coordinates activities (field trips, transportation, etc.) to ensure resources.
• Demonstrates methods to address individual student requirements.
• Directs assistants, student teachers, instructional staff, volunteers to support the classroom.
• Instructs students to improve academic, interpersonal, and daily living skills.
• Manages student behavior for a safe learning environment.
• Monitors students across environments for safety.
• Participates in meetings to share information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
