Qualifications

• Have a bachelor’s degree in education and Minnesota licensure for the assigned grade and subject.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction in Band and General Music aligned to district standards.
• Provide differentiated instruction to meet diverse student needs and abilities.
• Assess student progress with formative and summative methods; adjust instruction accordingly.
• Create and maintain a classroom environment that is supportive, organized and respectful.
• Incorporate technology to enhance learning and engage students in 21st century skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively with families and caregivers.

Education

Bachelor's degree in education

Minnesota teaching license for assigned grade and subject

Relevant teaching experience

Additional qualifications per Board of Education

Proven ability to work cooperatively with staff, parents, and students
