Job summary

Platt Electric Supply in Kalispell, MT is seeking a Counter Sales Representative to join our team. You will provide prompt, courteous service, help customers with purchases and order processing, and support receiving, shipping, and inventory in the showroom.

Daily responsibilities include driving electrical distribution sales, building new and existing customer relationships, maintaining product knowledge, and ensuring showroom and counter areas are clean and organized.

Qualifications

2+ years of customer service, sales, or electrical distribution experience preferred.
Previous branch experience preferred.
Forklift, hand truck, pallet jack certification preferred.
High School or GED required.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers promptly and courteously with their purchases and processing of their orders or returns.
Assist in driving electrical distribution sales for our counter business and developing new and existing customer relationships.
Stay informed and educated on product knowledge.
Inform manager of any hazard or elevated situation pertaining to safety or customer satisfaction.
Assist with daily restocking, showroom maintenance, and keeping showroom and counter clean and organized.
May be required to perform other duties within a branch, including but not limited to inside sales, preparing and filling orders and/or receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping material, and maintaining branch equipment.
May be required to make deliveries up to 20% of the time.
