Job summary

Rexel USA in Kalispell, MT is seeking a Counter Sales Representative to deliver excellent service and product knowledge to customers at our Platt team location. You will assist customers with purchases, processing orders, and handle showroom restocking and organization, while supporting the branch team in receiving, shipping, and stocking.

The role emphasizes electrical product knowledge, customer relationship development, and safety awareness.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service, sales, or electrical distribution experience preferred.
• Previous branch experience preferred.
• Certification to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment preferred.
• High School or GED - Required.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers promptly and courteously with their purchases and processing of their orders or returns.
• Assist in driving electrical distribution sales for our counter business and developing new and existing customer relationships.
• Stay informed and educated on product knowledge.
• Inform manager of any potentially hazard or elevated situation pertaining to safety or the satisfaction of a customer.
• Assist with daily restocking, showroom maintenance, and keeping showroom and counter clean and organized.
• May be required to perform other job functions within a branch when required including but not limited to inside sales, preparing and filling orders and/or receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping material, and maintaining branch equipment.
• May be required to make deliveries up to 20% of the time.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
