Old Dominion Freight Line in Windsor, WI is seeking a dedicated Dockworker to safely load and unload freight and support warehouse operations. This part-time role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and teamwork to ensure timely deliveries.

The Dockworker will operate forklifts as needed, handle freight with care, and follow shipping paperwork and labeling procedures. Candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet customer pickup/delivery schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have knowledge of safe lifting and transporting procedures.
• Experience with freight movement documentation (shipping orders, manifests, freight bills).
• Ability to use dock yard management system to monitor shipment locations.
• Able to operate a forklift and read shipping labels.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight on trailers using a forklift or manually.
• Transport freight around the service center.
• Read and interpret shipping labels and forms.
• Secure freight inside trailers with straps, airbags, and cardboard.
• Ensure quality loading of all trailers and maintain safety standards.
