Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have working knowledge of safe and efficient lifting and transporting procedures.
• Ability to utilize the dock yard management system to monitor shipment locations.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight on trailers using a forklift, pallet jack or manually in compliance with DOT guidelines.
• Secure freight inside trailers using straps and airbags.
• Read shipping labels and complete freight forms as needed.
• Maintain safe and efficient loading practices and monitor equipment condition.
