South Carolina DMV seeks a Temporary Titling & Licensing Specialist for the Low Country region, covering multiple offices in designated areas. You will handle driver licenses, permits, IDs, registrations and related documents with accuracy and compliance.

The role emphasizes customer service, data entry, and collaboration with branches. A high school diploma and background check are required; CDL testing responsibilities may apply as needed. Temporary position with standard DMV benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus clerical experience.
• Must complete a nationwide criminal background check to include fingerprints prior to being certified to administer CDL knowledge skill tests.
• Before being certified to administer CDL knowledge skill tests must complete a formal CDL test examiner trainer course and examination.

Responsibilities

• Examines, accepts, prepares, enters and prints documents for driver licenses, permits, IDs, and registrations.
• Creates and edits customer name and address fields.
• Manages licensing needs for banks, lienholders, insurers and dealerships.
