Job summary

ATEC Spine, Inc. is hiring for a shipping and materials handler to manage receiving, storage, and shipping activities. You will package products, verify orders, maintain inventory records and perform data entry for shipping documents.

Qualifications

• Typically requires less than 1 year of related experience. High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 2 Years of Experience

Responsibilities

• Packages and prepares products for final shipment and posts weights and shipping charges
• Reviews customer orders, stocks and distributes merchandise in distribution center
• Compares packing slips with purchase and shipping orders for accuracy
• Maintains inventory records and performs data entry for orders and shipments
• Verifies inventory with contracts, invoices and requisitions and notes discrepancies
• Maintains material inventory records and status of material locations
• Computes inventory balance, price and cost for materials and equipment
• Packages materials ensuring accurate shipping documentation and protective packing
• Determines efficient routing and mode of transportation
• Assists with investigations into misdirected shipments or freight overcharges
