Job summary

Internetwork Expert is seeking a detail‑oriented logistics associate to manage material records and shipping processes. You will prepare shipments, verify orders, and maintain inventory data in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

The role requires basic MS Office skills, good communication, and the ability to handle both routine tasks and more specialized activities in a fast‑paced distribution environment.

Responsibilities

• Initiates, maintains, and compiles records for ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, and equipment.

• Reviews orders and distributes merchandise in the distribution center.
• Verifies accuracy of purchase and shipping orders against packing slips.
• Maintains inventory and purchasing/shipping records and computes inventory balances.

Initiates, maintains, and compiles records associated with ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, and equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Packages and prepares products and merchandise for final shipment and posts weights and shipping charges. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped
• Reviews customer orders, examines, stocks and distributes merchandise, products and materials in distribution center
• Compares nomenclature, stock numbers, and other listed information on packing slips to verify accuracy of purchase orders and shipping orders
• Compiles and performs data entry tasks to maintain inventory, purchasing, shipping, and other records
• Uses data sources such as contracts, purchase orders, invoices, requisitions, etc. and verifies inventory computations against physical count of stock and adjusts errors and documents discrepancies with proposed corrective action
• Maintains manual or computerized records such as material inventory, in-process production reports, and status of material locations
• Compiles information on receipt of disbursement of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies, and computes inventory balance, price, and cost
• Packages materials and equipment ensuring that shipping documentation is accurate, and materials are protected adequately for shipment
• Determines most efficient and economical routing and mode of transportation
• Initiates investigations into causes of misdirected shipments, damage or shortages in shipments or overcharges in freight cost
• Assists with or performs other related tasks as assigned

Education and Experience

• Typically requires less than 1 year of related experience. High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 2 Years of Experience

Salary Range

Alphatec Spine, Inc. complies with state and federal wage and hour laws and compensation depends upon candidate’s qualifications, education, skill set, years of experience, and internal equity. $20.50 - $22.75 Full-Time Hourly Rate
