Qualifications

• Master’s degree in related field or a Master’s with 18 graduate credits; one year full-time teaching experience preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience to perform duties.
• Strong background in pedagogy, technology proficiency, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes as assigned by designated supervisor.
• Prepare lesson plans for each course per approved objectives.
• Develop and submit course outlines and syllabi to supervisor.
• Assist in developing measurable course objectives and plans.
• Develop professional relationship with students and staff to encourage communication.
• Maintain accurate course records and complete forms as required.
• Be available for student consultation.
• Assist in recruitment of students where appropriate.
• Assist in evaluation of curriculum and instructional performance.
• Represent the college professionally within the community and college district.
• Engage in professional development as required for credentialing.
