Job summary

College of Lake County seeks an Adjunct Faculty member in Dance to teach Capoeira and other dance courses across multiple campus sites and online platforms. You will develop instructional materials, assess student learning, and maintain course objectives and syllabi aligned with college policies.

Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Dance or Education (or related field with 18 graduate credits in Dance), plus demonstrated teaching ability and comfort working with diverse student

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Dance, Master’s degree in Education, or Master’s degree in related field with at least 18 graduate credit hours in Dance.
• Proficient teaching experience and ability to work with diverse cultures, languages and abilities.
• Competency in technologies commonly used in college level instruction.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in subject field and develop instructional materials.
• Assess student learning and assign grades; provide feedback in a timely manner.
• Attend adjunct meetings; participate in college governance and maintain current curriculum.
