Job summary

Heritage Ridge Senior Living at Johnstown is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA/OTA) to join our rehabilitation team in a full-time, on-site role. You will work under a licensed therapist to support each resident’s treatment plan and contribute to interdisciplinary care.

You will document progress, communicate clinical updates, and help ensure high-quality outcomes. Prior experience with older adults is preferred, and ongoing training is provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate with minimally an associate’s degree in physical therapy or occupational therapy.
• Licensed or equivalent certification accepted by the designated professional accrediting body.
• Active licensed/certified assistant in assigned state(s) of employment as a Physical Therapy Assistant or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Prefer experience/knowledge in older adult rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Assists and supports the plan of treatment for each resident as part of the interdisciplinary team.
• Reports to the Director of Rehabilitation or designee and is clinically overseen by the supervising therapist.
• Supervises aides and coordinates care according to the plan of care.
• Performs necessary documentation and communicates resident condition to ensure quality outcomes.
• Participates in in-service training and center processes as requested.
