Job summary

St. James Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to implement therapy under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist and to document patient progress according to facility policy.

Experience with long-term or geriatric care is preferred. The role emphasizes exceptional patient service, timely documentation, teamwork across disciplines, and punctuality, with all duties assigned by the Director of Rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid state license and registration for practice.
• Provide comprehensive treatment under supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience with long-term/geriatric care preferred but not required.
• Strong documentation and timely weekly progress notes.

Responsibilities

• Carry out best-practice treatments under OT supervision.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to provide patient-centered care.
• Demonstrate exceptional patient service and clinical excellence.
• Report to work on time and adhere to hours.
• Perform duties assigned by Director of Rehabilitation.
