Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking an enthusiastic instructor to deliver engaging classes across Athletics, Recreation, Fine Arts, and Community Education. You will design instructional programs, prepare lesson plans and materials, present techniques, and manage classrooms to foster safe, energetic learning.

Your role involves tailoring instruction for all ages and ability levels, evaluating outcomes, maintaining safety policies, and collaborating with the program manager to develop program health

Qualifications

• Appropriate prior teaching or instructional experience required.
• Certification or degree in a related field or level of expertise is required.
• Must have up-to-date personal insurance prior to employment.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalency.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience teaching group exercise programs.

Responsibilities

• Design instructional programs and prepare lesson plans and materials.
• Present subject matter demonstrating proper techniques and manage classrooms.
• Provide safe, engaging, and motivational instruction for all ages and skill levels.
• Evaluate participant progress and provide constructive feedback.
