Job summary

Gulf Coast Bank & Trust is seeking a Commercial Relationship Manager to support the Commercial Lender in managing and servicing commercial banking relationships in Louisiana, including the New Orleans area. This role serves as a key contact for customers and internal partners and helps ensure deposits, loans, and other banking needs are handled accurately and with high service levels.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred; combination of education and experience considered.
• At least 1 year of commercial banking, loan administration, or relationship management experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple customers, loans, deadlines, and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Open new commercial deposit accounts and assist customers with related banking services.
• Perform ongoing customer account maintenance and respond to service requests.
• Serve as a point of contact for commercial customers and help resolve account and loan questions or issues.
• Coordinate with internal bank departments to ensure customer needs are addressed promptly and accurately.
• Assist Commercial Lender with ongoing management of customer relationships.
• Assist with day-to-day management and servicing of an assigned commercial loan portfolio.
• Monitor upcoming loan maturities, renewals, and documentation requirements.
• Monitor property tax and insurance requirements and follow up on missing items.
• Maintain accurate loan and customer records and assist with obtaining outstanding documentation.
• Coordinate and process construction loan draw requests and review draw documentation.
