Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial litigation.
• Proven track record of managing litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• High degree of professionalism and ethical integrity.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Proficiency in using legal research databases and software.
• Commitment to providing high-quality legal services and achieving client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Handle a wide variety of commercial litigation matters, including managing all aspects of litigation from inception through trial and appeal.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies.
• Draft, review, and revise legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, and settlement agreements.
• Collaborate with other team members to develop litigation strategies and ensure effective case management.
• Represent the firm and its clients in court hearings, depositions, and settlement negotiations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends affecting commercial litigation.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on litigation-related matters.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Participate in business development activities, including networking events, seminars, and conferences.
