Job summary

Vision Bank is seeking a Commercial Loan Officer in Durant, OK to develop and retain commercial relationships, originate and manage a diverse loan portfolio, and ensure compliance with bank policy and regulations. You will coordinate with lenders and branch managers to maximize lending opportunities and promote the bank’s commercial lending services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• 1+ years of either residential or commercial mortgage origination and/or real estate sales experience is recommended.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of economics, accounting, and finance principles and practices, the financial markets, banking, and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
• Ability to identify and report risks that could impede reputation, safety, security, or financial success of the bank.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business by developing relationships with prospective commercial customers within the target market.
• Meet with applicants to obtain information; analyze data for loan requests and prepare recommendations.
• Recommend products and services to borrowers and explain loan requirements and process.
• Screen loan requests based on bank policies and procedures and loan types offered.
• Prepare loan proposals with due diligence material to support recommendations to Loan Committee.
• Collaborate with credit analysts to expeditiously decision loan requests.
